I recommend taking the Painting Silk Scarves class before this one to get the "feel" for working with acrylic on silk.
Learn to paint flowers on silk with acrylic paint that behaves like dye. The paint is liquid, transparent, and permanent. We will use 100% Habotai silk. You will explore layering color and a simple technique to define the flower and leaf motifs. Choose the colors you like and create an amazing scarf. Your creation is finished at the end of class. You will be amazed at the results.
One silk scarf, and a practice piece of silk. Paint and materials are available during class.
This class will be easier than you think. No previous painting experience is needed!
