Learn to paint flowers on silk with acrylic paint that behaves like dye. The paint is liquid, transparent, and permanent. We will use 100% Habotai silk. You will explore layering color and a simple technique to define the flower and leaf motifs. Choose the colors you like and create a unique one-of-a-kind scarf. Your creation is finished at the end of class. You will be amazed at the results.
One silk scarf and a practice piece of silk. Paint and materials are available during class.

Just so you are aware. Aprons and gloves are provided, but clothing may be subject to staining. Please wear articles of clothing that you don’t mind getting painted on, including shoes.
