Learn to paint Devore rayon silk with Fiber-Reactive Procion dyes.
One patterned Devore Satin scarf is included. Dyes and materials are available during class. Rayon silk Devore Satin scarves with hand-rolled hems will be used for this class.
Note: Fiber-reactive dyes rest for 24 hours. Your scarf will go home with you, to be washed and dried before wearing it.
This class will be easier than you think. No previous dye experience is needed!

What is Devore rayon silk? During a chemical process, rayon is removed from the silk backing, creating a pattern that shimmers when dyed. It's beautiful!

Just so you are aware. Aprons and gloves are provided; however, clothing may be subject to staining. Please wear articles of clothing that you don’t mind getting painted on, including shoes.
